Artist Guidelines
Introductory
Introductory artists are those who are just starting off. They’re either quite new to graphics or haven’t ever made them before. If you’re sorted into this group don’t be discouraged! Work hard and you’ll be promoted in no time at all.
Beginner
Beginning artists have got the basics of graphic making down well, although they have still to refine their technique and really express their talent. They are able to make graphics quite adequately but still could get a lot better.
Intermediate
By the time an artist is sorted into the intermediate category their talent is really starting to shine out. These artists are very talented and very hard workers.
Accomplished
Accomplished artists are very talented and make very beautiful graphics. IF you get to this level you can truly and honestly say your graphics rock out loud, and you are one talented individual.
Master
Master Artists are the very accomplished artists who really are the best in the field of graphics and put the rest of us to shame. Master is the highest level an artist can reach here at “red carpet & rebellion”. Masters even have sway over promotions! If three different masters’ pm the admins stating they think a member should be promoted, then they will be, regardless of what the admins think of their graphics. The opinions of the Masters are counted very highly.
Graphics Staff
Graphics Staff are the very accomplished artists who really are the best in the field of graphics and put the rest of us to shame. Graphics Staffies even have sway over promotions! If three different GS’ pm the admins stating they think a member should be promoted, then they will be, regardless of what the admins think of their graphics. The opinions of the Graphics Staff are counted very highly. Staff are Global Moderators and are responsible for moderating forums, critiquing artwork and perusing galleries to check for members who might deserve to be promoted. Please note that are considered staff members and are expected to be active.
To be promoted into any of the artist groups the admins have to feel you deserve it and you have to have a recently updated gallery. Promotions occur monthly. Please note that inactive artists may be subject to demotions.
