C - B O X R U L E S
Okay, so, as the weeks of this site have gone by - more and more recently we’ve been getting people who don’t seem to be able to follow basic instructions such as ‘Don’t Advertise’. And don’t worry, I know who these people are - and I know most of you are using the c-box for goodness - but I’ve realised it’d make sense to elaborate the rules a little more.
R U L E 1.
Don’t spam. It’s easy enough, right? And by spamming - I mean lots of really inadequate posts of nothing-ness. I don’t mind chat, I like chat - I don’t even mind double posts. Just none of this: f
fbfjfk.djueizomgWTFYEAURSITESUXX.
Because that, my darlings, is rather annoying =].
But normal spam is good. That's what the cbox if there for =]
R U L E 2.
No Advertising. Again - it’s pretty easy, yet it seems that people can’t follow it. We don’t want any links in the cbox to any outside [or inside, for that matter] sites. That’s what the advertising forum is for.
Advertising galleries and such is also not allowed.
R U L E 3.
Don’t ask for people to take up requests. So, I realise that this rule has never been made particularly clear - so I understand that in the past newer members or whatever have asked people to do their sets. I’m making it known now, though - don’t. Your requests are looked over by many graphics artists - and it will more than likely be taken up. If it isn’t within the first few of three days of posting, you are entitled to bump. But only one bump per few days, thanks. Oh, and don’t start pestering people by PM’s, either. That’s even worse, and if you do, I’ll know.
R U L E 4.
No abusing/bullying/annoying other members. Do I really need to explain? Didn’t think so :).
R U L E 5.
Do not discuss promotions. The administrators in charge of promotions will do their best to keep you updated with how promotions are coming along, but please bear in mind that they have busy lives outside of RCR. Please do not demand to know what is taking so long / when promotions will begin / how to get promoted. Everything you need to know can be found in the FAQs. If you have further questions, post in the 'letters to the staff' section or private message a staff member.
R U L E 6.
Follow all the above rules. I’m being reasonable, yes? These rules can change at anytime, and I can will get rid of the cbox if too many of these rules are broken.
I will warn anyone who repeatedly breaks these rules - even if you post as guest, I'm sure you'll all know by now there are ways of knowing who you are. So think twice before spamming/advertising/bullying next time :).
