Hey guys, Sabrina and the rest of the staff here. As you can see, we have a shnazzy new yellow and teal button in the sidebar with the big splashy word "DONATE" on it. As you all know, RCR is over a year old and will be two years old in August. We're planning on sticking around for a loooong time after that. And we want to remain a good quality site and maybe even become better quality, if we can. In order to do that, and to add the features that we want to add, we need some money to help us pay the fees. This is, of course, ENTIRELY OPTIONAL. But of course, preferred xD Here is a list of the things that we need money for, and it's just the beginning:

DOMAIN/URL. As you all know, nothing is free. Including our domain -- which needs to be bought. I've got a sponsor paying for us for our first year and a half, but after that, I'm going to need help.
PREMIUM C-BOX. I'd like to put in a premium c-box eventually. It's got better aspects of it -- like the ability to remember your username and not allow people that aren't registered with the cbox to talk, so I know who's spamming and things when they do. Plus, they're shinier, and who doesn't like shiny?
ADLESS FORUM! I'd love to make RCR adless. IF wants money for this, continuously. They sell it by click, not by month or year, so we're going to need a somewhat small, but steady cash flow for this too. But just think! No more annoying googleads under the banner!
MERCHANDISE!!!! Yes, I know! RCR MERCHANDISE! It's been a while since we promised this, but it's slowly shaping itself together. One of the things left is that we need a down payment/investment to handle the first month or two's worth of cost. You know, to buy the things before you all do & to pay the printer.

This is only the beginning of the things that we're going to need to expand. I've already got some of my own money in the donation box, so never fear -- I'm not asking you to do something that I wouldn't do myself. Any help would be amazing. I know, however, what your next question is going to be.

What do you get out of it?

I would send you cookies, but they'd probably get stale. Really fast. And I'm not all that good at baking. So, you get the second best thing. ( I hope. ) You get:

Depending on how much you donate, you will be labeled as a different type of sponsor in our sidebar. That's right, your name will be scrolling happily along in the sidebar underneath the button under whichever level you are under. The levels of sponsorship are: platinum, gold, silver and bronze.

However much money you spend, you will get x5 that amount in RGP. So if you give 5 dollars, you will get 25 RGP, 10 and you will get 50 RGP, 100 and you will get 500 RGP. (:

If you donate 20 50 dollars or more, you'll get to pick a forum to sponsor. AKA: in the category head, instead of simply the title, you'll get this:



except, replace my username with yours. Duh.

And you'll get our everlasting love.

There will be more rewards as time passes and we see how many of you are awesome enough to donate. We appreciate this so much.
