Hello RCR (:

So I know that things have been a bit shaky and flaky and very, very backed up around here lately. And I know especially much that members are getting very frustrated with us, and this is very, very understandable. People have been asking for an update, so here it is. An update.

Lea and I are both seniors in high school. We have had final exams, AP exams and graduation to deal with. I've been busy for a bit over two months with these things and so have Lea. We've put up notices saying that we have been too busy and to please have patience, but clearly that has not been obvious enough, which is my fault. I should have made this update sooner. Basically, Lea and I have both been accepted to our dream colleges. Which is awesome, but also poses a lot of new things that we have to prep for right now. For example, I have to cough up 1800 dollars to pay for my down payments on college and housing. And 600 more for a new SLR digital camera for my major. Among other things, of course. Honestly, RCR has been the least of my worries.

Which is totally irresponsible and I apologize. Lea is still busy, seeing as she hasn't graduated yet, and I have. I'm currently out of town in New York, visiting my college and doing some arrangements but I should be home soon (which means back to my three jobs, yay!) which means more time.

Because of this shortage in help, we have hired two new head staff members and two new staff members. Emily (expo) has been promoted to administrator and Yan (mayaku.) has been promoted to head mod. And, Sophie (x_nolitafairytale) and Therese ( versailles.) have been promoted to moderator. PLEASE CONGRATULATE THEM.

Now, as for promotions-- Emily is doing them as I type. There will be June promotions, just later in the month seeing as May ones are so late. Expect them in the middle of June. Awards will be popped out in the beginning of June as well.

Look around for some new changes and forums and aspects and shiny goodness around here. Things may have been slacking in the past, but now they're moving along.

Again, I'm sorry for the inconvenience and I hope you all will stick around.

Everyone gets busy at time, and with school winding down, and summer starting, and COLLEGE who would have time for rcr. Getting backed up is not your fault nor anyone elses, it happens. When you put your love into a site, and give it anything you can do to make it awesome, than you are doing what you can for the site, and you have done that. So what a few months, you guys slacked off, and didnt really do promotions, it doesnt matter. You have done so much other stuff for the site, that it really doesnt matter. Rcr would not be what it is at the moment if the admin, and people in charge just stepped down, and you guys know that. Thank you for what you do for rcr, and keep doing whatever you guys do to make this site one of the best in the graphic community. I hope everything for college, gets settled out for you guys and you have a good time.

Congrats to the new admin, and modorators and what not. You guys were given this title for a reason, good luck with it, and i hope you do well.

I understand how senior year can be (since most of my friends had to go through that this year) and I'm surprised that you guys still managed to get even this much done with all that's been going on!
