Springtime means spring cleaning--if you haven't noticed, a lot of sections of the forums have been cleaned up and revamped a little. The Critique section is newly revamped, the PQA is still accepting applications, we have a new layout, there is now a Frequently Asked Questions list, forum descriptions have been edited, and things have been organized.

Still--the revamp is not complete. Currently, our new projects include:

» a main site for rc&r
» a revamped & restructured tutoring section
» a writing section
» the rc&r podcast
» official rc&r merchandise

Besides that, sabs and I would like to apologize for our recent absence. We've both been busy. As a result, member promotions will be taking place this weekend, so we would appreciate if there were no more whining/complaining/pm-ing us about that subject.

Also--as we HAVE an FAQ now, we require that you read it before PM-ing or contacting an administrator or staff member. It's not because we don't want to talk to you--but because we get the same questions again again. It's easier for us and you.

I'd just like to add that if you have NOT read the FAQ and proceed to pm either Lea or myself about a topic that is answered in the FAQ, we will not respond to you. Not because we're mean, but because we're busy. (:

Guys, the writing forums that were set to be viewable to everybody were an accident, they've been put back to the proper permissions. Sorry for the error, guys, the real thing will be launched very soon!

just wondering. mhm, maybe you should have like plot pages and applications templates makers. just suggesting.

A WRITING SECTION!
That is actually so AWESOME...
I was thinking of suggesting that.

It won't be a super big writing section--but we'd have areas for you to share work in order to receive comments & critique. The sections we are planning to include are: fanfiction, fiction, non-fiction, poetry.

Furthermore, we're also planning to include a 'portfolio' section, where writers will be able to start a thread similar to the graphics galleries where they can include links to all their pieces.

A challenge section is also planned :]

I think it sounds VERY awesome!

i can't wait. i do a LOT of writing, especially fiction, so it should be awesome. especially with challenges and stuff. =]

Ooh, these updates sounds really exciting! Especially the writing forum and podcast! Can't wait. :)
