The Line of Fire Forum has gone under a new [again!] revamp! New forums have been added, along with new forms and rules, so hopefull it'll be easier on both those wanting and giving critique.

However, we are in need of some brand new members to add to the PQA team. Rank does not matter, however I do ask that you do have more than 30 posts [like promos]. For your 5 most recent critiques, you will have to go digging through the incomplete and complete forums.

If we already sent our applications last time(last month I believe), do we have to again?

I'm afraid so. However, I know a few people are having difficulty searching through the complete and incomplete, so I'll allow a minimum of 3 - 5 critique examples. I promise it won't hinder your chances.

Would everyone find it easier if the Line of Fire was reopened?

I do apologize that it's become so difficult to regain older post, but it would probably be easy on all of us if the forum was just reopened and everyone started out fresh. Again, I apologize and I hope no one feels any animosity towards starting over. :]

I agree. Starting fresh would be the best thing since, like many people, I can't find the critiques I have done in the past.

We are still VERY OPEN to new applications and members for the PQA. If you feel you are qualified enough for the job, please feel free to send in your applications. We could really use the help. :]

I apoligise for the lack of updates, especially to those who have applied. We're still deliberating on 2 apps, and when those two are finalised, apps will be closed, so until then, please keep them coming in. :)

I really do apologize if activity in the critique forum is going very slow. As most of you know, Em/Alora has been away due to school, and it has been the same for me, especially since this year is winding down and I'll be graduating. The PQA staff is very small, so auditions are still open to whomever feel they have the time and quality to handle the forum. I ask this since I do not want to see the forum overcrowded with threads. Also, there have been at least three members who were accepted, but we have not notified them yet. Hopefully, we will get this done soon, and once again I apologize for the back up. <3

Remember, if any member wants to apply, PM all applications to me until Alora is able to return. :]

I am sorry for the double-posting, but we are still looking for more people. So far, 3 members have made it in. I have sent in their names to have them given mod powers for the critique forum, but it is a matter of time until it occurs. In the meantime, I am still looking over a few applications, but it is hard to give a good summary of the member with just me looking it over. So, my apologies to anyone that has turned in an application and hasn't had any news of their status. I'm trying to update as much as possible, considering in the next few days, I will once again be very busy with school and getting ready to graduate. Thank you for your patience and still consider the PQA because it needs new staff!

I'm not sure if I should be asking this here, but I do have a question..

Do you have to be a certain rank to be accepted? Like, are you only accepting accomplished and above? I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this. I was just wondering. :]

No, we don't generally go by rank when accepting, but we do tend to focus more on beginners+ more so because of experience. But if we found an intro whose input was very good, that intro could be placed into the PQA. We mostly accept based on how well the critiques are and if the person can give good, unbiased, and knowledgeable critiques; oh, and if the person can handle the responsibility of being part of the PQA :3

Or will we only find out when we get that Mod power of the critique board?

Well I sent out a pm concerning the people who were accepted, but it might have been overlooked. so i'll resend a pm so that the new members can get the mod powers :] but I think i just might post up who was accepted and who wasn't so it would end any confusion.
