FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.This is a list of the frequently asked questions that the staff encounter through PM's, etc. I would suggest looking through this list before contacting a staff member. Thank you for your cooperation.GENERAL.What does elite mean?
It's a special member group of the people that have more than 600 posts. It doesn't really mean anything--but it shows our respect for the active members of the community.
Can you change my username?
You need to have RGP in order to get a name change.
Why was my request trashed?
Usually, requests get trashed after about 10 days with no posts or bumps. So if you stopped bumping your topic, then we assume you don't care anymore. Otherwise, it was trashed because it violated the requesting rules in some way.
Can you ungraveyard my gallery?
Since not all staff are online all the time, we've made it easier for YOU. Please post in THIS thread, and a staff member that is online will move it back asap. please do not PM a staff member about moving galleries.
What are RGP's? How do I get them? etc.
Everything you need to know about RGP (rebel gold pieces) can be found in THIS forum.
REGARDING PROMOTIONS.When are promotions!!!??!
Typically, they're at the beginning of each month. However, we staff ARE human, so they don't always happen like clockwork. Generally, look out for the topic at the end or beginning of a month.
Did you miss my gallery? I wasn't promoted...
There are very few times that I outright miss a gallery. I assure you, I looked at it. If you weren't promoted, then that probably means that I didn't think you were ready. Otherwise, take a look at the most recent promotion thread, as member and artist promotions sometimes happen separately. If you don't have the code/what is asked of you in the current month's promotion thread, you won't be reviewed.
How do I get promoted?
If you're a member, you simply need to post a gallery in the member galleries section, and paste in the appropriate code during promotion time. If you're introductory+ you'll need to apply in the promotions thread at the beginning of the month. If we feel you're ready, you'll get promoted. If you don't have the code/what is asked of you in the current month's promotion thread, you won't be reviewed.
How do I get on staff?
Honestly, all you can really do is be an active part of the rcr community. We pick our new staff based on if there are any openings, how long you've been around and how active you are. If we think you deserve it, then you'll get it.
