Title: Challenge Section: New Rule

bless my soul. - March 15, 2009 10:06 PM (GMT)
Alright RCR, some of us graphic staff have been talking and we've decided to implement a new rule in the challenges section. From now on, you're not allowed to reply wtih an empty post saying that you're "in", because really, it's just cluttering up the topic. And trust me, it's a pain having to scroll past five empty replies to get to one that actually had the time to enter the challenge. So from now on, please only reply to a challenge topic if you are placing in an entry or you have a question.

Do not be surprised if you make an "in" reply and find that it has been deleted.

(this will not affect the current empty replies in the challenges. this will be implemented in the next round of challenges.)

This is a very fair rule.. and I agree it was a little annoying having to scroll through everything!

!CEZZA - March 16, 2009 06:10 PM (GMT)
I very much agree. Good idea. ^^

NEON SERENADES - March 16, 2009 07:13 PM (GMT)

The rule makes sense since a lot of people wouldn't edit in entries and then it was just posts in the way for y'all when it came to making the poll. *nods* Reasonable rule. :]

eliza - March 16, 2009 11:20 PM (GMT)
Definitely a great rule to have. (:
Especially with how big RCR is... Well, it's a given that not everyone always actually edits their posts with their entries, and that makes a lot of empty posts. D:

Vany - March 17, 2009 12:43 AM (GMT)
actually we should have had this rule earlier. Makes so much sense.

Lauren - March 17, 2009 01:39 AM (GMT)
Yeah, I'm suprised this hasn't been implemented early, it was quite annoying. But it's all good now =]

Kimmerz - March 17, 2009 05:51 AM (GMT)
good idea!

raine - March 17, 2009 04:40 PM (GMT)

a-flowers - March 17, 2009 06:56 PM (GMT)

lazy bones - March 18, 2009 12:28 AM (GMT)
This will be easier to see the people that really are interested to the people that are only mildly interested.

.ethos - March 18, 2009 01:45 AM (GMT)
agreed. good rule. <3

Rockthesoul - March 18, 2009 02:41 AM (GMT)

I'm glad everyone seems to like this rule and like I had said already, this rule is going to be implemented into the next round of challenges. Guess what? It is now the next round of challenges.

Please make yourself aware of this rule for if we see any 'IN' replies, they will be immediately deleted. If we see you repeatedly break this rule, you will be warned.

You guys, I am growing increasingly frustrated at the number of people breaking this rule. Active members should be checking the newsletter on a regular schedule to see what's going on at RCR and therefore should be aware of this new rule change. I've been nice and simply deleting the posts without increasing any warn levels but from now on, if I see that you're a repeat offender, I will increase it.
