To begin, I’d like to say that I appreciate that you all are very nice and friendly members that love to help out. RCR is a totally awesome site because of all the members here.

However, the Coding Mania section of the site isn’t for everyone to post in. Anyone who is seeking help is allowed to post (and don’t be scared to!) but only the coding staff can reply to the topics. This is the whole reason I had created an application for people to apply with. If you felt that you could be a benefit to the team, you were supposed to apply. The coding staff exists to make sure that those that are asking for help get what they need. If, by chance, the staff doesn’t know how to answer the question, then we will allow other members to post. Otherwise, only the.angel.mercy, oscarwilde and myself are supposed to reply to topics.

As of now, applications are closed but I have a feeling they may be opening soon =). If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask them.

If you really want to help, here is what you can do: spread the word! Members are still posting code related questions in the general question forum. If you see this, please PM me the URL and I’ll move the topic to the Coding Mania section. Also, you can tell people that Coding Mania exists and that is where all the questions should be posted. Put the link in your sig or PM those that have questions, etc.

Hey guys! I would just like to ask people to, again, leave the support to the Coding Staff. We have a team of a six competent members who works quickly in the section. I would appreciate if you would only post if you're looking for coding help =). Thanks!

Looks like we're having to bump this announcement once every 6 months, but here it is again. ^^;

We really apprciate those who are eager to help out, but for the purpose of keeping track of everything (not to mention archiving and such), we have to ask (again) that only coding staff respond to help threads in the Coding Mania section. As always, if you're interested in being part of the coding staff, keep an eye on this forum - along with the Coding Mania Headquarters - for announcements about any openings we may have. :)
